The Least...The Last...The Lost
The church is saying, "Come, Jesus, come." Jesus is saying, "Go Church go!" When we are going, He is coming! Many have asked Leif, "What is going to happen to those who have never heard about Jesus?" However, a few years ago the Father asked Leif, "What is going to happen to the ones who have had the Gospel, but have refused to take it to those who have never heard?" Leif's heart became broken when God asked him that question, and in that brokenness God took him through a process of pursuing and fulfilling his assignment to the LEAST, the LAST, and the LOST. We are the generation who's been given every tool available and who has no excuse for not fulfilling the Great Commission to GO and "Make Disciples of ALL Nations."
Leif Hetland and GMA are dedicated to the 55,000 people who will die today having lived their entire lives never ONCE hearing the Gospel of Jesus Christ. The vast majority of these people live in the 10/40 window, which contains the highest concentration of least reached countries and people groups. Yet, the western church gives only 0.1% of its resources to penetrate this darkness. The 10/40 window is often called "The Resistent Belt" and includes the majority of the world's Muslims, Hindus, and Buddhists. An estimated 2.37 billion people live within the 10/40 window containing 5,208 people groups and is home to the majority of the world's poor. On average, these poor exist on less than one dollar a day. Some say that "the poor are the lost, and the lost are the poor," as the majority of the unreached live in the poorest countries of the world. There is a remarkable overlap between the poorest countries of the world and those who have heard the name of Jesus the least.
Leif and GMA have received extreme favor in many nations, but none more than in Pakistan. Leif has witnessed hundreds of thousands say "YES" to Jesus, and many of these precious souls have been from Pakistan. We believe the favor Leif and GMA have been given is for "such a time as this."
