READY TO GO ON THE FIELD BUT NEED HELP WITH THE MISSING PIECES?
We believe we can be the last piece of the puzzle for you. There is a new missionary wave that is going out into the nations beyond denominational lines. We are finding many of those missionaries in need of the services MIA has to offer, and our goal is to make them known and available to those missionaries.
Our purpose is to oversee, pastor, encourage, bring accountability, process donations and help facilitate sending those called full-time to the nations. Whether that call involves evangelism, church planting, teaching, leadership development, education, missions of mercy, medical outreach, or serving another ministry, we want to assist them in being successful in their destiny for the Kingdom.
FAQs
How Can MIA Help Me Get to the Field?
We provide administrative support and an accountability covering to missionaries. We will collect your donations and deposit them in your bank account. At the end of the year we will issue tax receipts for your donors.
Does MIA Help Me Raise Financial Support?
No. You are responsible to raise your own support. However, we will advise you on different ways of how you can raise support. The director of MIA has years of experience as a missionary, being in the field, and raising a support base. MIA will also advise you on the writing of newsletters and even mail them for you.
Do I Have To Have A College Degree Or Be An Ordained Minister?
Each applicant should have a working knowledge of God’s word. Bible College, Ministry School Training, or its equivalent is recommended, but not required if the applicant has other desirable qualifications or experience.
If I Apply To Be Part of MIA Does It Mean I Am A GMA Missionary?
No. In fact, most who are currently a part of MIA, actually serve with other missions organizations such as Iris Ministries and YWAM.
Is There An Application Process?
Yes. There is an online application with a $25 application fee required upon submission.
For more information about MIA please read through the Missionaries in Action Handbook or contact Ray Goff, Director of MIA, at ray@globalmissionawareness.com.
