Ministry Experience with GMA
The plane touches down. Ministry team members peer out the windows to catch first glimpses of their trip destination, wondering what God holds for them on this adventure. Often what they experience is more than they ever dreamed possible.
 Wherever we minister, GMA connects with those hungry for the Kingdom of God. Though we may not speak the local dialect, our leadership and staff come into an area speaking the language of the kingdom of God: Love.
When traveling with Global Mission Awareness staff and leaders, be prepared to be stretched, challenged, amazed and totally changed by His radical presence. Team members who have experienced GMA international ministry trips report that they will never be the same after seeing God move among the poor, hungry and desperate. His love transcends all language, culture and economic barriers, uniting us with our brothers and sisters around the globe on a heart level as we experience Him together.
GMA focuses on networking and connecting churches and leadership in the countries we minister to. We come to serve, honor and equip local church leadership. GMA provides pastor conferences, leadership seminars, Muslim outreaches, and Bible School training for the purpose of equipping local leaders to reach their own nation and people groups.
 Following the example of Christ, demonstrating the power of God is the primary means of turning people's hearts towards Him on a GMA ministry trip. We firmly believe that as sons and daughters of our Father in heaven, He will use us in power encounters to demonstrate the reality of His Kingdom. Team members will often be asked to step out and pray for healing for the sick, cast out demons and follow the leading of the Spirit during events and gatherings. Many, if not all, team members experience the power of God moving through them in manifestations of healing and deliverance. For some of our team members, it is the first time in their lives.
We are also committed to demonstrating the love of God through donations, supplies and distribution to orphans and widows through indigenous churches, taking care of the whole person.
