Pursuing Kingdom Alignment

Dear Friends,

During this season there have been many fresh revelations imparted to me, one being “KINGDOM ALIGNMENT”. I know that I have been in a season of KINGDOM ALIGNMENT, and anytime I attempt to move further with my KINGDOM ASSIGNMENT, I feel the dove lift causing me to move back into the position of ALIGNMENT. I’m convinced we are in a season of God developing NEW WINE SKINS for the NEW WINE He’s desiring to pour out to His people. What’s the NEW WINE? Fathers and Sons! What are the NEW WINE SKINS? Family!

Let me explain. Malachi 4:5&6 says, “Behold, I am going to send you Elijah the prophet before the coming of the great and terrible day of the Lord. And he will restore the hearts of the fathers to their children, and the hearts of the children to their fathers, lest I come and smite the land with a curse.” In Luke 1:17 it says, “…the spirit and power of Elijah.” Think about it. Why doesn’t it say, “…the spirit of David, or the spirit of Jeremiah, or the spirit of Daniel”. Why, because Elijah knew how to be a father and in this very challenging season that we are living in, Father-God is calling forth Fathers towards Sons, and Sons towards Fathers! . II Kings 2:12 says, “My Father, my Father, the chariots of Israel and its horsemen!”

Elijah raised up a son, Elisha, to carry out his assignment after he was taken to heaven in a whirlwind. Elisha received inheritance (double portion) from Elijah, his father. Slaves and servants receive pay….sons and daughters receive inheritance. Please note, I’m not being gender specific. This has nothing to do with gender or age, but hearts. The Church of Jesus Christ is filled to overflowing with men and women crying out to be fathered and mothered. Why do we and many other nations have a curse on their land? I believe it all relates back to the huge lack of this Kingdom Principle. We are lacking Fathers raising up sons to pass on the inheritance.

The New Wine Skin is the Family! God did not send an organization, denomination or institution. John 3:16 says, “For God so loved the world that He sent His SON…” This is the perfect Kingdom model of the perfect Kingdom family. If you study, after Elijah was taken to heaven, Elisha picked up Elijah’s mantle (Elijah’s identity) and went directly to the Jordan River and struck it with the mantle (did what he saw his father do) and it parted and he crossed over to the other side. It then notes that when the sons of the prophets saw Elisha they said, “The spirit of Elijah rests on Elisha.” Elisha then went to Mount Carmel, the place of his father’s greatest victory. His Father’s ceiling became Elisha’s floor. I am a Spiritual Son! My Spiritual Father is Jack Taylor. I also have Spiritual Sons and Daughters that I am releasing my mantel and inheritance to that my ceiling will be their floor. It is my desire to raise my ceiling to extreme heights so that my Son’s and Daughter’s floor will enable them to carry a greater love and anointing than I carry. I Corinthians 4:15 says, “For though you might have ten thousand instructors (teachers) in Christ, yet you do not have many fathers; for in Christ Jesus I have begotten you through the gospel.” Father God is longing to raise up Fathers in this day and hour.

According to I Kings 19:15, God gave Elijah three assignments, “…you shall anoint Hazael king over Aram; and Jehu the son of Nimshi you shall anoint king over Israel; and Elisha the son of Shaphat of Abel-meholah you shall anoint as prophet in your place”. Before Elijah’s glorious exit, he only accomplished one of the three assignments and that was anointing Elisha as prophet in his place. But Elisha was not just a prophet, but first a Son! Elisha took on his father’s identity and Assignment, but first Elisha came into Alignment. We must first come into Alignment as Sons and Daughters and then be about fulfilling our Assignment. Why are so many in the church today not fulfilling their Assignments? I believe it’s because we do not have a culture of Fathers and Sons and as a result we have not seen “THE CURSE OF THE LAND BROKEN”.
